DataPulse runs inside your own Google account and sends alerts from it. Our servers receive only your email address and anonymous-style product events — never cell values, formulas, sheet names, or settings. Payments run entirely on Stripe's hosted checkout; we never see card details.

No — that's the entire design. One incident produces exactly one email. While the breakage is being fixed, DataPulse stays silent (the live status is in the sidebar). Once the sheet is clean, the incident closes quietly, and only a new breakage after that triggers a new alert.
Every standard Google Sheets error — #REF!, #DIV/0!, #VALUE!, #NAME?, #NUM!, #N/A, #NULL!, #ERROR! — plus cells stuck on “Loading…” for over an hour, which usually means a dead IMPORTRANGE or GOOGLEFINANCE connection. If your sheets use #N/A intentionally in lookups, you can tell DataPulse to ignore it.
DataPulse scans your chosen tabs from inside your own Google account to find error cells, and alert emails are sent from your account too. Nothing about your spreadsheet — no values, no formulas, no names — is ever transmitted to our servers. We receive only your email address and content-free usage events. If you don't upgrade, monitoring pauses and you get one polite email saying so — no drip campaign. Upgrade later and monitoring resumes automatically, with your settings intact.
DataPulse currently supports spreadsheets using English-locale error codes (the #REF! family). Sheets set to other locales display translated error strings that DataPulse doesn't yet recognize.
